Women Business Owners of Denton County will hold its monthly luncheon on Tuesday, July 10th, 2012, at Oakmont Country Club, Corinth, Texas. “Network and Nosh” will be the theme of this month’s meeting, which will give all those in attendance an opportunity to be in the spotlight.

In a departure from regular meeting structure, which normally features a speaker, Women Business Owners of Denton County is changes it up a bit in July to focus on networking. Everyone will have the opportunity to share a “60-second commercial” about their business, including what type of clients they are seeking. Although this is standard practice in some groups, WBODC normally builds in 30 minutes of mingling and networking prior to lunch and the speaker, but there is no structured time for introductions.

“Our organization is primarily focused on providing support and education for women business owners,” explains Kathy Haenszel, President. “Networking and exchanging business cards happens during our mingle time from 11:30 a.m.-12 noon, but we usually have no time for everyone to stand up and tell a little about their business. At this meeting, attendees will be able to do that, as well as bring business cards, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials they may wish to share with others.”
