"Staying Connected in a Disconnected World" Topic of Speaker Penny Gee at WBODC's September 2008 Luncheon, Tuesday, September 9th

Peeny Gee with Gee-Force

Women Business Owners of Denton County will hold its monthly luncheon on Tuesday, September 9th, at Oakmont Country Club, Corinth, Texas. (This month's meeting is being held one week later than usual, due to the observation of Labor Day on Monday, September 2nd.) "Staying Connected in a Disconnected World" will be the topic of guest speaker Penny Gee. Founder and lead trainer of GEE-Force, Penny specializes in communication strategies through the assessment of individual, group and organizational performance levels.

Her topic will focus on the importance of maintaining personal contact as the ultimate means of staying in touch with important people in our lives, while technology allows us to reach more people in more places than ever before. Learn about simple yet personal ways to stay connected, thereby improving relationships, creating bonds, realizing the power of positive feedback, and strengthening your team.

Penny is a former elementary school teacher, adult English teacher, Fortune 500 sales rep, realtor, and restaurant manager. All have led her to her current career path, which focuses on "Gratefully Empowering through Education" - putting the GEE in GEE-Force. "I strive to empower each and every one in some small way to be a better employee, spouse, parent, neighbor or community member. Knowledge is power."

The Women Business Owners of Denton County is a non-profit organization established to strengthen women owned businesses economically, socially, and politically via energizing and expanding its members' centers of influence.
